Friday Evening With a Seven Year Old

Turn away from your monitor and hunker down with the Scooby-Doo videos.
The Best of the New Scooby-Doo Movies

Why be a parent, or a cousin an aunt or an uncle if not to spend the evening with a child to create  blog content.

Kids are hilarious and surprisingly insightful.  A quick conversation with a seven year old will yield a dozen more amusing moments than you could call to mind by banging your head against the keyboard.

Today’s conversation  began with Where would you like to go eat lunch?

7 year old reply:  “ The Chinese Buffet , they have good ice cream “

While we were eating  lunch,  me eating,  the 7 year old, just having rice, chicken  and jello as she needed to save room for the ice cream, continued with the next question.

What are we going to have for dinner?      My kind of woman !

After 2 hours of swimming, her choice for dinner was Dairy Queen.  I wonder why I am the favorite Great Aunt.

What would  you like to do now after Dairy Queen?
7 year old reply:  “  Lets go to Target so we can get stuff for tonight, as we are going to  stay up all night & PARTY”

Its been an exhausting day but a lot of fun. I am pooped and so is the 7 year old, as she didn’t make  it to the party, she passed out on the air mattress eating the Flamin Hot Cheetos while watching Scooby Doo.
When Life gets too serious spend a Friday night with a 7 year old.

I reposted this again as I loved this post, I hope you do too.
